100km Thames Path Challenge Completed!

We are proud to say that our Sales Director Alex, and his friends, completed the 100km Thames Path Challenge.

With your help, they've raised over £1,400 so far for Young Lives vs Cancer. It was absolutely the hardest thing they've ever done. The lack of sleep, combined with the lack of any sort of incline or decline, meant it was very hard going on the feet and the spirit!

They were struggling by the 75k stop (as the picture shows) but dug deep to get to the finish.

Just a few stats:

  • We completed a total of 65.44 miles in 24hrs and 55mins
  • Over 37hrs across the weekend we got about 1hr 45mins worth of sleep / naps
  • Walked over 137,000 steps
  • Burnt over 6,500 calories.
